Topic: How do you spend your New Year's Eve? | |
---|---|
I'm just gonna chill and watch Sons of Anarchy whilst outdoors kids are enjoying their loud fireworks. Hate them bangers
Just before 24.00 switch on the telly for the countdown (only time a year the telly gets switched on), open a bottle of bubbly, go out in the garden to watch my private fireworks show there (neighbours at the back). Both my cats are safely indoors this year, so nice and relaxed, apart from the warlike sounds outdoors. Sometimes it's like someone is throwing grenades, at this rate I should be happy if I got windows left in me house by morning! Have a great evening all! |

New things for me this year, I am told the event of all events will be held tonight here in my new found paradise. My typical evening of watching the ball drop on TV, from a pacific time zone curled on the couch to avoid all the crazies abandoned for an evening of cold temps, people huddled around fires, dodging fireworks and who knows what. This blog makes it sound quite magical and they claim it goes on for three days here. They sure know how to throw a party!

I normally spend it at home, but this year I am going out. I want to be in the game and not on the sideline all the time :)

I will be home alone wishing someone would bash through the door to come rescue me from my loneliness. Or just bash through my door and toss something at me for fun then run away with me not ever knowing who had done it. That could be entertaining.

On my own watching " Jools's Annual Hootenanny" on BBC2 TV with a glass or two of the good stuff.
Happy New Year to all and a peaceful 2015. |

I normally spend it at home, but this year I am going out. I want to be in the game and not on the sideline all the time :) I thought about going out as well, but pubs are crazy on New Year's eve, way too many people crammed inside, and I really don't like it if I can't even move my arms or get to the bar to get a drink. And always way too many pissed people. I really seriously don't like pissed people. BrE pissed that is... So I rather stay home, go out another night :) |

Bash down someone else's door! |

Indeed, you needn't be lonely. I had a wonderful evening, now New Year's night, lol. Fireworks are still going, unreal! That one bloke at the back must have spent a small fortune, he's been going for 40 minutes solid, the pretty, expensive stuff!

"How do you spend your New Year's Eve?"
I stay here at Mingle2 and discover more evidence that Dilbert is correct about you Humans. Oh, in case you didn't get the news, Dilbert has joined Mingle2. |

I didn't drink any alcoholic beverage last night but still woke up with a headache.
I did some cardio, and it went away soon after... |
