you thought of doing now that your older and then said I might have done that if I was younger ... what would that be ... for instance... I might have done bungee jumping when I was younger... but now I am to skeptical ... My dream of becoming a skilled archer and be part of our national team. It is still a dream for me. Enrolling in classes for the sport is expensive here. Other priorities too got in the way. And getting an opportunity is a slim chance. I could have planned it better when I was younger. So I think I will miss that chance forever. You can be a skilled archer by practicing in your own back yard or park ... not sure if u have auctions... flea markets but you can always find the things you need pretty inexpensive ... I learned when very young ... helped to have a brother that liked sports ... and still does ... why give up the art ... just becouse of no team ... they also have places to go to for archer groups ... can still learn have fun with it ... |

Try to make it to the UFC,when I was much younger,I thought it would've been cool,lol ain't sayin I would of made it,but also ain't sure I wouldn't of either, definitely would of like too,but now?  I thought you could be of any age and just be fit ... and you could try out for ... they come up with so many things now to have to top one another to stay up their in the running for the best ... lots of working out ... and steroids I bet too ... they just don't talk about... not really into that ... buy liked a few of the older guys ... |

Hummm... I don't see that there is anything I wanted to do when younger that I would not do at my age... Many of those things that I wanted to do and got to do. Was due to being older and having the time and saving the money to do them.... Found out that I enjoyed it even more then I think I would have younger.... When you give up your goals it don't give you much to look forward too.. Never knock things off your list for you never know it could still happen..

There is something to the saying "if I knew then what I know now" in reference to age/inexperience. Now I don't have the fear of being alone but don't currently have the $$ to travel. Youth IS wasted on the young. Case in point: here in a affluent suburb of NY in the spring & summer you see a lot of convertibles on the road: shiny, fast EXPENSIVE cars, mustangs or Mercedes or whatever. Who is behind the wheel? 60 y.o. fat bald guys: they worked their whole lives to afford the car but now the hot women who would look good in such a car won't give them the time of day! LOL!
Same with a lot of things that folks regretted not doing while they were young. When you find yourself with the $/time/experience to do it - the opportunity/appropriateness of doing it is no longer available. |

To become an OB/gyn. Or a physical therapist or a Chiropractor. Too late to go to school and become a doctor. I wish I was more focused on my education/career instead of marriage and having kids.
