Tremors 5. whoa

It was almost as crappy as 2, 3, and 4... Wait, I didn't see 3 and 4. Now I wish I could "unsee" 5. It's almost 2 hours of my life I will never have back. However, since I watched it on Netflix I was able to minimize and do something useful like post on M2.

I liked the other's better, but #5 wasn't terrible. Objectively, the worst part was Jamie Kennedy.

The original plan for #5 was to have many of the members of the original cast, but I guess that fell through.

Torgo .. My movie oracle .. Have you seen Stephen king's the dome .. Found season one and two cheap in a sale .. Can't remember watching either .. Was obviously a mini series . Think similar to V .. A town enclosed in some type of alien / supernatural force field . Wondering if worth buying ??? waving spock

I think so, especially if cheap. I like the first 2 seasons. The show took a nose dive in season 3, so it wasn't surprising that the show ended at the end of the 3rd season, even though they had originally planned on it being a 5 season series.

If you've read the book, don't expect the series to adhere to it.

lol I think they stole some ideas from mad max .. The apocalyptic bandits seemed vaguely familiar .. I watched the remake of mad max recently .. Nowhere near as good as the original .. The Aussie accent was missing rofl rofl

hehe...haven't seen that yet, they tell me its an exhausting ride...non stop...

1. Vantage Point of Dennis Quaid

I find Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) character
interesting & pivotal in this film.

2. Warrior(2011 film) of Tom Hardy

I find Brendan (Joel Edgerton) character
more interesting in evolving than the
other characters of the plot.

3. Hitch of Will Smith

I like Albert Brennaman (Kevin James) character
dance in this film. It actually change the impact
of his character in this film, in a good way,

The 3 movies kind of reminded me,
that people will always have a different
"vantage point" of reading & accepting a message
from other people:

While What is more important to others
is the motive & what the message will lead to,

Others will find it more important where the
message came from-
what materials are use in that message?
Does it come from a junkyard or from
a sophisticated, classy bookstore?
Is it written on a crumpled bond paper
or perfumed stationary?
Is it from a "somebody" predictable or
from an unpredictable "nobody"?

or
what is more important to others is
how they can use the message.

Or
what is more important to others is
the message & how it will affect them?
what they can learn from the message?

or
what is more important to others is
how the message will affect someone
they care?

or
what is more important to other is
what exactly is the message is all about.
the real meaning of the message.

I sometimes asked myself
why I cant help being -
-interested in American Politics
-interested in their books, music & movies

then I get to watch movies like these
that gave me an inkling why...

..was it a choice or a decision?
..was it really black & white or
are there grey matters that needs to be addressed?

..was it just "cause for the moment" or
do they really care?

1. Escape Plan of Sylvester Stallone

Dr. Kyrie: Doctors are men, who prescribe medicines of which they know little, to cure diseases of which they know less, for men, of whom they know nothing at all.

2. John Q of Denzel Washington

John Q. Archibald: Who was driving?
Mitch: Huh?
John Q. Archibald: The car. Who was driving?
Mitch: I was. What's that got to do with anything?
John Q. Archibald: Why's your girl all banged up and you're not?
Mitch: What do you call this?
[shows light scratches on arm]
Lester: [laughs]
Mitch: What are you laughing at?
Lester: Somebody get this fool a band-aid. I don't want you to bleed to death.
Mitch: Scr## you man. This Shi# hurts.
Julie Bird: His airbag went off and mine didn't.
John Q. Archibald: What kind of car do you drive?
Mitch: Mercedes 500.
John Q. Archibald: You drive a Mercedes 500? Oh. What year?
Mitch: 1986. It's a classic.
John Q. Archibald: Mercedes didn't make passenger side air-bags till 1988.
Lester: [laughs] *Busted!*

3. American Hustle of Christian Bale

Rosalyn Rosenfeld: I knew that Pete was going to go over there and knock some sense into your head. I've been reading this book Irving. It's by Wayne Dyer. The Power of Intention. And my intention in sending Pete over to you was that so you could come up with this plan. So, you're welcome.

Air - Sci Fy (released in USA in 2015).
I never heard of it until I rented it. And I wouldn't recommend it for a rainy day.
Actors are decent, but the script & cinematography sucks.
