Hi everyone, I am a Born Again Christian, but I seem to find it difficult to enjoy church. I have had some very negative experiences in church in the past and this has made me not want to go back again. I would like to meet other Christians but I do not want to go to church anymore. I have tried many different churches and they all seem the same to me. I do not feel welcome and I have suffered discrimination in some churches. I do not understand why this happens to me. I have tried praying about it. Can anyone give me some advice please.

First of all, welcome in the club. Church is a mix of people. We all are sinners on our way. Don't let the enemy rejoice over you. God has not given us a spirit of fear. Remember the prayer of Jabez: Enlarge my terretory. Forgive and forget about the past. Go back into the line. Go into the House of God. God is there! One key is: It is better to act then to react. Change your role from victim to victory. God will guide you.

you may not need to go to church, but you NEED the church, 1 Corinthians 12 tells us that the church is the people, not the assembly hall, or meeting place like so many think. Yes you need to spend time with other Christians, and don't just try praying, but continue in prayer.

"Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6

You are the church, therefore you dont go to yourself on Sunday..the building is not the church, we are..the bible says we are lively stones fitted together to form the church..
When my grandma passed away I gave up church..I thought I didn't need it and that I could have a relationship with God without going to church..however, I didn't feel peace with myself, was searching something to make life meaningful..it wasn't until I returned to church that my life became more as I wanted it to be.. just sharing it with you..jope it helps you ponder on things..good luck..

There are churches that have online services. Try one of them.
