While not replying to a message is one form of an answer because it shows a lack of interest, is it also being rude ? depends upon whom you ask I don't expect strangers to answer me , they can if they find an interest, if not,,, no hard feelings,, , never know how many messages and requests they get and I don't expect them to be going through one by one to muster a response if they have no real interest,,,, likewise, if I am busy I don't feel an obligation to answer a stranger,, if the message doesn't really include something that sparks my interest or if the subject line is a red flag, I most likely will click through it,,,,, theres thousands of others on here for us to contact,, literally,, just move on (that's how I feel anyway)

I usually send at least a thank you for taking time out to read my profile but If I feel its a scammer then I agree no message is a message.

Nah, not rude. Most are scammers anyways. "Hi dear" .. "I'm ... by name, .. blablablar" (entire life sob story) ... DILLIGAF "I'm waiting for your response" ... good luck with that I only reply when someone appears to be genuine
