Topic: America haters | |

You can't love America, believe in its founding documents, rights, freedom and liberty, and what it all stands for, and support our POTUS, his policies, or his admin.... It's an impossibility! Absolutely and profoundly untrue. America and the POTUS have my complete and devoted support, for someone duly elected to the toughest job in the world. With all given the right to heap daily abuse upon those who have a job and are doing it well. That can only be said of one doing his job or concerned with the outcome of his actions. Our liar, golfer, narcissist, racist, in chief is neither! |

for security reasons, we as the public can never truly know all that is 'being done' on the matter of international relations and safety on topic though, HATE and LOVE are both strong words for strong emotions I think people often confuse support for 'love' and disagreement for 'hate' I guess world reaction to our fraud in chief, the proof of his failed, or lack of, policy and leadership, and the harm it is doing to our nation both home and abroad has no bearing or basis |

what 'world' reaction?
bearing or basis on what? ,,perhaps you quoted me in error? |

on topic though, HATE and LOVE are both strong words for strong emotions I think people often confuse support for 'love' and disagreement for 'hate' repeated for clarity 1. we don't have the privilege of knowing all the things that get done behind the scenes 2. HATE and LOVE are much stronger emotions than disagreement/disapproval and agreement/approval 3. people in the threads often confuse someone agreeing with something as them LOVING The person being referred to and convuse disagreement with something as them HATING the person being referred to (for purpose of this thread, replace 'person' with 'place') |

How can our leaders represent us if we are not allowed information to base our desires on? Of, for and by the people means little these days when we are not informed, not considered,, never listened to (but definitely listened in on..... selective hearing on the part of govt!)! That's like a Dr offering you 2 pills for an illness....one works, one doesn't, one will kill you, the other will cure you, you decide without a clue to either which to take...... the choice is always "your fault"!.... not theirs! What you consider "the way things are" is the reason our nation is in the shape it's in..... secretive govt! And this was promised to be the "most transparent" admin by our liar-in-chief who promised us we could keep our Dr's and insurance, swore Benghazi was caused by a video, that there wasn't a "smidgen" of corruption at the IRS, and divided a nation by saying if he had a son he would be like the youtube posting, wannabe gangsta thug, Treyvon Martin.....well, he probably got that part right Get a clue! |

Our liar, golfer, narcissist, racist, in chief is neither! When I hear this, "Even if you don't respect the president, you should respect the office" in response to any type of criticism of ANY sitting president, hard as I try, I cannot stop the eye roll reflex that always follows...It's a reflex that pretty much kills any chance of having a meaningful debate about why I feel the way I do...Using the fact that Obama was voted into office twice as a valid argument is like saying all those who disagreed with that choice better get on board because they are no longer entitled to have, let alone express, their opinions, their dislike, their disgust, or even their hatred for the man...I don't agree!...Since respect means having a feeling of admiration or esteem for someone or SOMETHING, one can respect the office without respecting the office holder...In fact, I think those who speak their mind "however" they choose demonstrate their respect for the highest OFFICE in the land because they emphasize the fact that here, in the United States of America, anyone can state their feelings about a sitting president freely and without fear... |

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president... is morally treasonable to the American public. Theodore Roosevelt |

Y'all DO realize there's a difference between challenging a currently seated POTUS' beliefs and policies
and calling a currently seated POTUS "monkey boy" and "O'bummer", riiiiiight? One is called "criticism" and is protected under the First Amendment. The other is called "knee-jerk reactionism" and is protected under the First Amendment. Here, in the U.S., we have the freedom to actually read up on matters OR to parrot what someone else as said; we have the freedom to choose to engage in intelligent discussions OR to engage in mindless drivel. Don't take away others' rights to NOT play in the gutter and slosh around in the mud, just because some enjoy it and are going to exercise their right TO mudsling. |

I think people need to use their brain instead of their emotion |

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president... is morally treasonable to the American public. Theodore Roosevelt and here I thought the phrase used was 'shat all over' or something like I find that a different extreme than merely criticizing ,,,,,, |

for security reasons, we as the public can never truly know all that is 'being done' on the matter of international relations and safety ... repeated for clarity 1. we don't have the privilege of knowing all the things that get done behind the scenes In the Middle East, we certainly know what is and is not being done, and so does the rest of the world. If we had the privilege of knowing all the things that got done behind the scenes ... they would go to jail. |

Yep! It's because I respect the office that this clown we call our president get's my tidy whities in a bunch! I swore an oath...... and I perceive this man as a threat/enemy to my country, it's people, and the very foundations of our Republic! A constitutional (?) lawyer who doesn't understand the separation of powers? Who's bombed 7 countries in 6 years without a declaration of war from congress Who's lied to the American public on nearly every opportunity from day one, including his campaign rhetoric Who seeks to weaken our borders by policy while throwing money at those who breach it Who fires combat generals to replace them with "yes men" school boys, while seeking to cut our forces in a time of conflict Who bows to foreign kings while apologizing for Americas superiority, yet saying America needs to lead the way Who makes idle threats to foreign powers while arming, funding and training our enemies Yep, hard to respect the man because I do love and respect the office and the country it was meant to serve HE WORKS FOR US....ONE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT! An employer has a right to criticize the performance of their employees! How low can he go? I hope we never have to find out! Hopefully he'll go to his knees WITHOUT bringing America to hers! |
