ya, I might just have to yank somebody right out of Texas if I had my way. "Get in the bomb shelter, and take up your rifle at the peep slots."

Too close to home for you???

I live less than 10 miles from this hospital.noway

One of those, (unnamed, under watch) folks could be a close neighbor.

Filter masks, surgical gloves, long sleeved shirts and pants and limited close contact with the general public.

Be sure to undress outside. Leave those clothes in a hamper outside. Go directly to the shower to avoid any accidental contamination inside your home.

I'll predict the future again.

Soon, there'll be a Liberal coming in here posting that the Ebola Pandemic is just being exaggerated and doesn't understand why conservatives are fear-mongering.

Gotta go fetch a can of varnish to finish a coffee table I built.

Myself I think that some may over think the situation they have no cure for Aids. But yet you all do not have Aids.. Ebola is transmitted the same way...

To over think and go to the extreme is not the way to go about things.. Make sure you follow the same regimen you would if you were around anyone carrying a deadly disease.

As far as the guy being seen by the hospital and released Ebola starts off with a fever just like many other sickness does..

What I don't understand is why are they letting anyone travel from the area where Ebola is in full force to any part of the world... Taking ones temperature at the airport before they board will not stop someone from bringing it over.. That has already been proved with this case..

as far as I know

no flights from africa

are being canceled...

so the borders are still open

feds are giving the invaders

refugee status... jerry brown

signs gun restriction law...

this is what happens when

subversives take charge...

who by the way take their orders

from the likes of soros, ayers, gates

and others who have pubicly stated

their need to cull the herd....

things will be moving faster

than ever...

The monkey spanks back.

Should prove to be good news for the Hussein regime.

As the body count rises, job opportunities will rise.

Unemployment numbers will drop.

Liberals here finally get what they've been screaming for.

Third-world status.

Trouble is, they ain't immune, they were pawns, played to the graveyard

Thanks libs, for falling for it.

Now, my opinion only applies to Hussein voters who voted for him the second time around.

You will die. Just like the conservatives.

Is that your scientific analysis? Where is your study on Ebola that you draw your conclusion? Sure, I would imagine, the body is infected, the sperm would also be. So is sweat, urine, defecation, blood, saliva, mucus.

Where is the stat on the study that Ebola is purely sexually transmitted?

Another thing. AIDS doesn't rapidly eat you from the inside out.

Here's a real life picture of an advanced infected person. Any resemblance to AIDS?

Sure, the pics are graphic. Get used to it. I imagine, we will be seeing quite a bit of it.

WARNING!! EXTREMELY GRAPHIC!!

Looks like to make sure ya don't get infected, yas needs ta dress like this.

BTW, they are Drs under those outfits.

Pic too big.
PHOTO: Dr. Besser dons scrubs before putting on several layers of protective gear.

Notice, the package containing the several layers has been sterilized.
Reckon they know something the average Joe isn't allowed in on.

I will take Ms Blondies word over the CDC any day. That is her field, don'tcha know?

FYI
Exhaled carbon dioxide contains droplets of moisture.

How close ya need to be to get infected?

thought you might be interested in this .... Has not definitively been proven that Ebola is spread purely by contact. Droplet infection ( like the flu) has not been ruled out as a mode if transmission.

This from the CDC .....

Casual contact is defined as a) being within approximately 3 feet or within the room or care area .....while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment ( although the word droplet is not specified.. Their statement indicates non contact ) .

or having direct brief contact (e.g., shaking hands) with an EVD case while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment.

An experiment between infected monkeys in a cage and non infected pigs in a separate cage demonstrated spread of Ebola ... Without direct contact ... This would also indicate droplet spread.

I guess time will tell :-)

Actually this is from the CDC in their words...........

( But, remember, Ebola to spread generally requires close contact. It is not spread by the airborne route and it is not spread by someone who is not sick. We are talking about the risk of people who are quite ill, perhaps ill enough not to be able to hide the fact that they are ill. And to people with whom they have very close contact with body fluids. )

By this your right Blondy only time will tell if in fact it could be airborne.... So far they are leaning towards it is not. Sure that is so there will not be a panic.

Ohh and here is the source .....
http://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2014/t0731-ebola.html

@Willing2
And as I said before it is transmitted similar to how Aids is transmitted.. by body fluids and blood.......

And if you have seen pictures of those that have Aids it is not a pretty site either...

Ohh and I never said it was only sexually transmitted and neither is Aids. Both of those you can get and not have sex with the person. Not sure where your sources are that Aids does not effect the organ's. Sure Ebola turns them to mush and the effect from Aids can cause organ's to shut down.

By now, it'd probably be a good idea to stop all flights into and out of Dallas.
I would also recommend a full quarantine of the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Incubation to death is an average of 12 days.

... By your chart 100% of them die after 12 days. I could not find anything within the CDC site that would give a timeline or a chart... They do say that it kills between 50% -90% of the people that contacted Ebola.. And seems the length of time depends on what care they were getting and if it was caught in the early stages.. Which even the early stages it is hard for them to detect.

Ohh and I would like to see your source on the chart it is not from CDC. Oh yea it is actually from ...........VOA News instead... yeppiers one I would trustnoway
