I don't doubt that the story is an actual news story, I just question if it's the truth. The Chinese government could have killed the man and framed his wife for it. Perhaps they were considered political enemies because of their religious beliefs or political activism. A single capsule of rat poison (US grade) wouldn't kill a child. Poison is in the dose. Also, a capsule entering someones mouth wouldn't go unnoticed. Also, capsules desolve very quickly in saliva, saliva is full of digestive enzymes, so how long did the jilted lover hold the capsule in her mouth before the kiss? The story just doesn't add up.
