Let me tell you about the world I was born in.

When I was born, the president of "my" country was Richard Nixon.

During The Watergate Investigation, recordings reveal THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...referring to me and all blacks by the N Word. In The Oval Office. Routinely.

Homosexuals, Jews, natives, Asians, and Latinos fared no better.

Although the Jewish man Henry Kissinger was the brains behind Nixon's administration, Nixon said this...

"I don't want any jews at the dinner. Unless they supported me. You hear me?"

^^^ The President of the United States of America, Richard Nixon.

And y'all want to talk about Barack Obama.

Shame on you!

the point, for me, is that you cant do with others what they wont 'consent' to do,,,if there were a political term, it would be political 'rape

the people and the government AT LARGE have to be interested in and willing to work with EACH other for such changes,, and that hasn't happened

and why would he need someones endorsement AFTER he has already been elected president?

NOT ELECTED, NOMINATED...big difference!!!!slaphead He couldn't afford to lose her "millions" of supporters!...In other words, he need those votes to get elected!...frustrated

so, that presumes that her supporters were likely to do a DRASTIC 180 from voting democrat to support Mccain instead?

really?

W. Wasn't the president anyway.

The President was Darth Vader, Dick Cheney.

The Torturer-In-Chief!

Cheney, shot a man in the face!

And the man apologized to Cheney!

This was a war hawk. A neo-con. Cheney, with his tentacle-like ties in HALLIBURTON, lied to get us into Iraq to make a fortune through his private military connections.

If they had it their way, America would never cease to be at war.

So these men can rake in money off the deaths of innocent American soldiers!

Disgusting!

But y'all have the nerve, to run down Obama.

Disgusting!

Sidenote: I like Jimmy Carter, he is a humanitarian, and from my homestate. For purposes of this topic though, let's keep it real.

Carter.

When Iran took over our embassy in Tehran, Carter tried a rescue mission.

It was a monumental disaster!

The rescuers themselves crashed, and were taken hostage. This event led to enormous widespread anti-American sentiment throughout the Middle East. Culminating in the rise to power of the extreme Islamic militants and the AYATOLLAHS in Iran.

Now those same people are becoming a NUCLEAR threat.

Thank you Jimmy Carter.

Be advised, this failed mission stands in stark contrast to the successful mission of Obama that captured and killed Osama Bin-Laden in Pakistan.

I bet Powell (like most folks) wouldn't vote for him again! It is much easier to get elected if you lie about your motives.

at least under Nixon and all the presidents before

we were more of a 'superpower', had a bigger 'military' and didn't spend so much money helping americans,,,

if only we could go 'back' to those good old days when you were born King

we would certainly be on the mend, instead of on the way to being 'ruined'

The civil rights act was before Nixon.. The great society that implemented all those entitlements you love so much happened before Nixon..

Ironically.. the lowest level of black unemployment after the great depression occurred between 1950 and 1970..

I know that you want to equate 'going back' to Jim Crow and whatever else race related topic that comes to your mind..

In reality, that period was the greatest expansion of the middle class and rise in wages since the industrial revolution.

You can keep using it to promote your race based rants, but most if not all of the people responsible for Jim Crow and or any of the other government sanctioned racist behavior are dead.

Not to mention that the number of people that were are even old enough to remember those days is dwindling rather rapidly.

So you can mock the concept of the last vestige of economic parity and rising wages and wholeheartedly cheer on the huge disparity in wealth, the high unemployment rate and stagnate wages of today..

All because people can get free phones and food stamps..

more abstracts? I don't know, but lets look at actual NUMBERS

black unemployment has been consistently twice that of whites for at least the last fifty years,,,lol

http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2013/08/21/through-good-times-and-bad-black-unemployment-is-consistently-double-that-of-whites/

so the lowest unemployment rates PERIOD were between 50 and 70

and the last jim crow related federal intervention was in the late sixties, that means those in their forties and above were alive during those times

and in EVERY Decade since I was born we have experienced unemployment rates HIGHER than what they are now but it didn't mark the 'ruin' of the whole country

IN EVERY DECADE since I was born, we have experienced stagnation in wages, and growing wealth disparity

so what Im mocking is the VALUES that place money before people, by assuming that these times are the 'worst' in a us history FILLED with social injustice and atrocities,,,

as well as the intellectual dishonesty that refuses to acknowledge any of the other periods in our history where these noted economic concerns were actually , by the numbers,, WORSE

and by the way, people have been getting food stamps for decades too, and phones since cell phones came into atyle

but please lets continue to pretend these things magically elevated to doomsday proportions under THIS president,,

Nixon, got pardoned. Ford, lost our first war. Carter, created Islamic Iran. Reagan, aided and abetted people who HE called terrorists in Iran-Contra. Bush 41, invaded Iraq over a personal beef between oil men he was having with how Saddam operated. Clinton, damn near raped a very young woman IN The White House. Bush 43, is the worst president in history.

Truthfully, Obama saved your aases. He really did. The entire world's financial system was on the brink of collapse. Militants were being made by the second because of Cheney and Bush's illegal wars, secret prisons, and tortures.

Barack Obama, had he been fully white...would be considered the greatest president in the history of this country by now.

I'm sorry, I truly believe that.

The only thing that was/is in his way..

Seriously...

Is white people who are totally incensed, that a "negro" is smarter than them, respected more than them, and has the audacity to think he could be The President of the United States of America.

And then add insult to injury with a fine black woman as The First Lady.

So because of that, about 30% of the entire country could care less if Jesus came out the sky and said "Do as he says"...they are committed to ruin, character assassinate, impeach, murder, destroy any legacy, block any move...that this president wanted to do to better the country.

When OBVIOUSLY, he's been twice the president any of the other men have been who I witnessed in my lifetime hold that office.

KING!

"PEACE GOD!"
