Sometimes I feel like I need to over compensate by having smarts and wit by being funny to make up for what I feel I lack in looks as well, again I've been told the opposite but always am able to convince myself that they are just saying that to be nice.

Thank you for your kind words about the scars post also! from what I can tell, you do have wit and brains, but I see nothing you need to compensate for. even though I, personally, am attracted by unner qualities, I don't think people are just trying to be nice when they tell you you're attractive. sometimes we tend to doubt what others see in us. |

Not so much being born different = intersex female, more in how i look in regard to not looking like a normal female should, facial features, more masculine , Being a dyslexic and trying to explain in words what im trying to explain, to others and they dont understand myself, i have it in my mind just getting it over, as i found out yet again to day, makes it so hard you wont to give up...... ...noeleena... |

In relationships, I can become insecure about his reasons for wanting to be with me....Not good and I know it, but I think most of us underestimate our attractiveness to the opposite sex from time to time....Maybe it is a good thing as it tends to keep the ego in check... Along the same lines as Missy, there are times when I question my parenting skills...Did I do enough, did I do my best?... You're an awesome and beautiful woman. Full of wisdom and grace. I, especially, would feel honored to be loved by a woman like you. Me. I used to feel insecure about dying alone. |

That that which I most desire will, ultimately, destroy me.
I want a man who is attracted to me; the men that I attract love my strength as a woman. After we *become one*, they spend their time either sucking that strength out of me or (figuratively) beating it out of me. Either way, they will not stop until that which they most adored is completely depleted/destroyed. I'm 4/4 with just my serious relationships, so far; don't even know the number of less-serious relationships I've ended because of it. It's gotten to the point that if I'm attracted to him and he's attracted to me (necessary FOR a successful relationship), I'd rather not bother because it simply means it's assured to be the *death* of me. I'm gonna need a bigger shoe house for all my cats, I just know it.  |
