My intuition comes into play when he opens his mouth.. Anything prior to that is primal innate attraction .. I know what attracts me physically in a man. .. To connect with his mind takes a different kind of knowing in which intuition definitely has a guiding role .

Think it works this way for me as well.

As for scanning the joint, depends why I'd be going to that bar or club. I think I'd partially scan whilst walking in and partially when I'm settled in with a drink. But I think the first scan is more to get the feel of the place and based on that, 'sense' where I want to go or sit.

But mostly I go to a pub or club to have a good time, not to find a potential mate. I've had a friend like that, when I went out with her, all she'd do was scan each and every men that entered the pub. Very annoying, don't think she would have noticed if I'd left the premises, totally focused on being seen by men and finding a possible date.

Just goes to show that predatory instincts are not male only. It is just as easy for us guys to spot as for you ladies to spot btw.

Intuition usually comes into play when he opens his mouth, but body language can attract or repel too...That "cocky" tude that says "Check me out" or the one some men use to hide their insecurities always spells trouble for me..scared

These days, when I go to a club or bar, I go to hear live music....I can usually find everything else I need at my local WalMart....laugh

Wouldn't work here, as the shops close around 20.00 in this remote area. Maybe in Amsterdam you can go grocery shopping after the bars close, but I doubt it.
I was told the other day that just before the supermarket closes, a lot of single men rush to get last minute groceries. But I spose that won't help cos then they're in a hurry and when they emerge, they're prolly hungry and want to go home to cook, haha.

@ JRT, be happy with Tesco's! My daughter lives in the US and she told me that Walmart personnel is not to write home about ...
Wished we had a Tesco's! Not cos of the male personnel, but because of the wide range of crisps, lol. Oh and Angel cake

Well, can someone then please tell me where you do go to find a partner for an LTR? Cos then I'm gonna go there. Unless it's a gym. It is where I found my first LTR partner though, he was my new taekwondo teacher. Hmmm... maybe I should go to the gym after all.

I'll give you a couple that were used on me....Saturday afternoon, meat counter, Kroger's...
He turns to me and says..."My 'ex' used to make the best pot roast...I'm going to give it a try 'tonight'...Any suggestions?....

Walking down the canned goods isle, the man behind me clears his throat and says..."I bet you play tennis"whoa ...Same man lurks around the magazine racks near the checkout isles and coincidently gets in line behind me, follows me to my car and offers to help me load my groceries....I was in a relationship at the time, but I liked him enough to introduce him to one of my friends...They dated for several months....

I don't act on it as often as I should. Maybe if I did I would invite less trouble :)

R u guys familiar with third eye or pineal glands?

I have limited understanding but had the notion that the 'third' eye was your internal eye, connected to your internal body clock and senses...including intuition I believe you are implying??
