when i kiss you
my fears disappear
and i feel the Pacific wind
of the high pass
between coasts

and i hear the birds singing 16 part harmonies

and i smell the fragrance of clean skin intensely
and humid air not far from the sea

and i taste freedom and happiness
as i wander away hopelessly lost in your arms
