Il n'y a rien de mal � profiter de quelques castors sur la fronti�re, n'oubliez pas de boucler vos orteils et tenez-vous droit...!!!...  Hope I did that right!! Realy!!!! Basically John probably thinks we're a couple of idiots..lol Thing with the translation. ..if you put one word in it will often be completly different from a grouping ? What was the last part curls your toes and straiten your posture right? Close enough!  ...Curl your toes, as in keep them on your side of the border while getting as close to your "subject" as possible and stand up nice and straight in order to achieve a longer reach...Hahahaha!....You always manage to bring out the best in me Pony!...lmao...!!! Why would you be on a forum when you don't speak the language? You wouldn't be able to communicate and join in. I find it rather self-explanatory that everyone speaks English. Normally speaking ppl with international, cultural interests, speak English as well. So what's the big deal? International to me means ppl from all nationalities are free to join and interact with each other. Would be a tad difficult if each would stick to his/her own language. And yes, you native speakers English are lucky b@**@rds cos you can basically go anywhere in the world without having to learn another language. Except Morocco. That didn't really work too well in English. Many Dutch forums you're not allowed to post an English text without Dutch translation. Sort of a similar thing. But I don't implement that rule on my forum. This is so true...not necessarily fair, but true. Esperanza didn't work, and yes the imperial pig language is the closest thing to an international language available. A bit funny Crystal, while in Holland I had an easier time understanding English spoken by the Dutch...than the FREEGIN ENGLISH! .....and sadly the grammar was better than most of the Americans I run in to. Haha, guess you're a real Southerner Must admit I love BrE and I have a thing for Scottish accents, very sexy. I guess the Dutch' English is understandable, but their pronunciation is horrible :/ NO! Will not say I have a great command of the language at all. Mildly sufficient at best, but most of my colloquialisms are based in surf culture and are "intentionally" incorrect. Hmmfff, my surf culture vocabulary is non-existent, even though the beach is just 'round the corner. And reading the last posts - or trying to - made me realise my French has gone down the drain. So much for language skills ... |

I do speak 3 languages and my daughter 5 languages (speak and write). I've talked to some people here in French and will speak in Potuguese if necessary.

Languages are subjective, to the number of people on any site, who can read, write, speak, and/or comprehend, any given language. As a child in Europe, I learned that a person who speaks many languages, is called multilingual. A person who speaks at least three languages, is called trilingual. A person who speaks at least two languages, is called bilingual. And... A person who speaks only one language, is called an American. A sad but true, overall world view of 'us'. LOL, the world view of America.... So true and not an understatement of the mentality to only speak American not English, do not mix up the two they are quite different.. lmao The next question could be, do the English realise, that their language is a variation of Frieze? |
