As the topic is about wanting someone to settle down with though, an older guy that's already sown his wild oats and got all of the craziness of youth out of his system can be a better bet than a lot of young guys.

Older men, there is stability, secuirity, faithfulness, real love, availabilty..... that is why

I know guys my age or older that have several women on the go at once. One of them is a fifty nine year old guy that lives with his wife and young girlfriend and he's been doing that sort of thing for as long as I've known him.

I think that a lot of it has to do with experience and knowing how to get women. Not every older guy is like that or can do that but some can. I'm better myself at impressing girls than I ever was in my twenties. I don't need a car or a wad of cash. I just talk to them and say the right things. Women like a guy that's confident and that isn't awkward with women and that's "mature". Some young guys are quite mature and some "old" guys are not. Women that actually go looking for older guys because they are older may be rare but I don't let that stop me.
