i'm kinda into the feeling that Zionism has always been around since the loss of the Jewish homeland 2 thousand years ago. After the revolt against the romans. The reistablishment of it is because of political pressures after the holocoust. Nothing important or of any importance to extreme evangical christians motives.

Yes, if that is the point I do agree that powerful Christian sects did play a part but I also remember reading etc. that for many Jews the Holocaust and loss of so many of their compatriots caused them to support the establishment of Israel as a Jewish state... prior to the revelations worldwide of the ultimate body count of the holocaust, most jewish communities were completely divided and extremely acrimonious over this question, primarily because of massages in the Talmund and the many commentaries to it that say that there should be no jewish state until the messiah comes....
