My best memories are of camping and spending time in the mountains w/ family and friends. I am glad to be able to pass those same memories on to my kids.....

Every Christmas Eve for years, my family and I would go into the Manhattan...

We would go to Rockerfeller Plaza and see the christmas tree, full of lights. We'd go to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall to see the show...then to a nice restaurant for dinner. We'd walk up 5th Ave and see the animations in the store front windows. It was one of my best memories of childhood.

I MISS those times...

My best memories are fishing trips with my Dad. Even in the dead of winter he'd take me out ice fishing to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin....when my little hands and feet got frost bitten, but those were the best of times.

Playing with my brothers, sisters, and the rest of the neighborhood kids. Those were the days when everybody knew everybody in the neighborhood, the days before the Internet, video games, cable, you name it. All we needed was a football, and for games such as "Red Rover" and "Fox and Hounds", we didn't even need THAT!

For those of you too young to remember, Fox and Hounds was basically Hide and Seek with teams.

"Red Rover, Red Rover,
We Dare so-and-so over"

Anybody remember that?

I remember that game Knox! bigsmile Where I lived when I was little, there were about 20 kids on our block all about the same age, our parents were all friends. We were the only house with a pool, 3', maybe 10' across, small. But, we'd all get together on weekends for cookouts and there were so many of us, we had to swim in shifts! Good times!

too many good memories to pick just one

I remember the feeling though, of being proud of my parents, feeling safe and loved, and experiencing exciting new things when I would travel with my mom

Raking the leaves in the front yard in New Jersey. Then jumping in the piles of leaves with my big dog, Wolfie.
