If God made us male and female with the different organs, hormones and minds that are attractive to each other.. sure he must have made sex for our pleasure, enjoyment and fulfillment other than procreation. I have very high sex drive however I will never let my self go at it as I would love or as my body demands due to my faith, moral standards and belief.

And sometimes I do feel inadequate and wrong about this feeling.. is this abnormal?..

it is not inadequate to show restraint and have respect for God and the body He gave us

He knew it was enjoyable for he created it, he knows we feel 'tempted' and should therefor be 'filled' with the body of our own spouse,,,

so, Id say, no, its not abnormal to feel 'inadequate' amongst the world that places a priority on 'happiness' and freedom with their body,,,but it is admirable to refrain from joining in and stay focused on a priority of the blessings bestowed upon us instead,,,
