I should talk right... it's been over a month(or 2 ) for me


well.. life has been challenging folks.. work.. reno's.. grandson.. and of course the latest 'campaign' to save SOMEthing or other keepin me busy as all heck! but it's kinda nice.. in an exhausting way.. however very rewarding!

go figure.. the floor I started work on in the master bedroom STILL isn't inSTALLED! with work consuming my weekdays (too tired and late to start anything THEN since I need time to eat and sleep ) and weekends have a day of cleaning house and doing other household/yard chores.. I finally DID manage to empty the pool YIPEE!.. yet even though the 2nd day should be dedicated to the reno's, the past month or so has had me busy with family instead!

howEVER.. there seems to be a slow down in work now (much welcome) so I MAY be able to FINALLY finish this in a week or 2.. *sighs* the guests bed is comfy.. but it AIN'T mine.. if ya know what I mean...

I'm hoping my kids get it now that I NEED time to get my house in order beFORE Christmas comes.. that WOULD be awesome!

it's funny how every time I get LOTS of work (and decent income) that everything starts to break down (and need replacing) JUST when I think I can FINALLY get ahead of the red line.. I get slammed with OTHER expenses and never seem to gain ground!! ARRRRRRRRRG! is it only me? or does this shite happen to anyone else?

well.. I DID manage to get SOME of the hardwood floor installed.. all of ONE row and O.M. GAWD but that hurt.. that'll teach me not to put knee pads on beFORE I start and after reading the instructions on how to work the new NAIL GUN.. I figured am I taking my life in my hands so did it old school using a drill, hammer and nails!
I've tapped half the nails flush in so far.. but stopped cuz that last one grazed the nail on my thumb, figured after everything else I did today.. it was time to stop before I REALLY hurt myself!

anywho.. time for ME to eat now (lupper as I kinda skipped past lunch).. have a good one
