ok - the complaint about guys not posting got me.

people don't write back because of many many reasons and if you think a little bit you can cite them all. this has come up a few times in the forums. but for some reason the other person does not want to be a regular correspondent. sometimes they are not confident or sometimes even don't know what to say. and if they cannot or are reluctant to correspond then you simply have to try someone else with whom you can have a nice discussion. one way to this is to correspond in forum threads where you can find out whose personality suits you better and who enjoys interacting with you. friendships developed out of forum discussions - "stick" better.

but there are many many people out there. plenty of nice people all wanting and needing special friends.

good morning to you all. I am with you girls on this one. It is hard to find someone. I've been on here for a few months now. Talked to lots of guys. Guess what?????????? only been on 1 date. thought he was the one, but, guess again??????????? NOPE. it didn't. If I see a guys profile and he sounds interesting, I'll write him and 'JUST SAY HI'. If he doesn't write back, ok, fine. move on to the next. But, what really aggravates me is this:::::::::::: A guy will e-mail me saying he likes my pics, profile, etc.., and wants to talk, ok, fine. I respond to him. And then BAM, THAT'S THE END OF THE BEGINING. Why even start a conversation with me, if your not going to pursue it. Well, guess all us ladies just have to hang in there. Whatever happens, happens. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US.
