I feel I am definitely undateable. Does anyone else feel that way? You don't sound like a boring type, unless the way you talk in person is far different than the way you talk here.. Perhaps the topics you get to talk about at the date were boring ones.. I really don;t enjoy just sitting around and talking that much with a stranger I see.. What if you get to know him well enough on line, so he doesn't feel like one when you actually see him in person? I think that is a good question. I have a lot of good friends on here :) It can take time and most guys are in a big hurry |

If you had romantic objectives, I would come to Ohio and take you on a date and talk about history or something 
IDK I think it would mean a lot of prep time just to do something we can do now. I can start a history thread... (see what I mean) You would miss out on the facial expressions though lol And the history would be what we create on our date

Dinner is always nice, but that is not the only thing you can do on a date... Here's what I would do... I would take you to the park where we could sit (or walk) and engage in some people watching.. Soon we would make our way downtown where they have arts and crafts booths in front of the aquarium every Saturday... We would talk about the interesting things that we find as we wonder who would put some of those things in their house... We will make our way down the street to my favorite ice cream shop... If you survive all of that.. Second date, we would go hang gliding.. See you at the bottom of the mountain! Sky is the limit when it comes to dating! |

I think one of the main reasons that many people feel that way about dating is because of the stereotypical routines or venues that are associated with dating..
Why can't dating be like doing some activities together, such as hiking, picnicking, strolling/riding at the (amusement)park, etc., instead of meeting at a restaurant, cafe, and what not? |

I think I am just too busy with my own agenda ...eagles and hawks in fall and winter, climbs to good bird spots, songbirds etc in the spring...I'm too obssesed for dating. But I do have more time for it over the next few months than I do the rest of the year... |
