I am telling you all of that driving makes me think I should turn in early tonight.

Who would have thought I would be driving for an hour and a half for the skills test!?!? Not to mention the two hour drive there and two hour drive back. Made for a really long day. So glad the weather was cool today though.

A bit sore and could use a nice hot oil massage on my thighs today.
Probably have to settle for an Epson salt bath instead though

I finished the remodel I was doing in my Mother's bathroom yesterday.
*Note to self, next time do not bend or squat as it makes the thighs really sore the next day.

I'll share a photo in a bit of the new floor.
I think it turned out pretty well myself

I got more thunder coming today.. however its attached to the rain we're expecting however it's only gonna get hotter.. no 'bake' relief today, is gonna be anudder VERY hot one

Thank you. Just returned from the license branch as I had to go there to change my license this morning. I hate that they give you a paper license and mail the card later. They say to save money but how are you saving when you are now using paper & ink for printing and then envelopes and stamps for mailing. Looks like additional costs to me.

It's been raining here all morning, actually since yesterday.
The dogs were not particularly happy with me either.
They forget, they tell me they have to go out...I take them and we stay until someone does what they said they had to do...rain or no rain..
Two wet dogs first thing this morning...hahaha

my girl does the same.. gets into position.. then when I open the door for her.. she sits there just lookin out at the rain as if to say "damn.. I don't feel like gettin wet".. guess she doesn't have to go THAT badly huh....
however she IS aware she DOESN'T get a biscuit if she DOESN'T go out

I hear ya on hurtin.. my kids still haven't showed up to help put the pool stairs in SO.. I tried on me own.. tupid me.. I pulled SOMEthing tryin to lift the weighted part to attach it to the stairs and haven't been able to do any heavy lifting since.. oye.. so I left everything where it was, entered the house, and did inside chores.. I guess I'll just keep scrapin my belly against the deck till they DO come by

My Boxer and Mother's Boston have pretty much figured out that if they ask me, they are going.
Well I don't play that little game at the door.

They have learned to NOT ask ME when it's raining.
However, this morning was a have to go since it was the first go of the day...lol

My problem was I bent and squatted instead of actually getting down on the floor. That caused the thigh muscles to hurt front and back. It is better today though I would not turn down a hot oil massage

I loaded and unloaded 2 washer dryer sets by myself because I had planned on doing it on my timeline not someone else's!

It's the old *Work Smarter Not Harder* rule I go by.
Backed the truck up to the deck which gave me about a 1 foot drop instead of a 4 foot drop. Used a 2 wheel dolly and slid them onto it. So I never actually lifted any of the 4 appliances completely as they were either on the cart or part way on the truck.

Today I find I cannot get the thought of sprinklers on a hot day out of my head.

typically she GOES.. but there are the odd occasions she just looks out, looks up, then gets up'n walks away.. kinda hard to pick her up considerin she's a big girl'n weighs about 100 lbs
she's called a Labernese.. a new breed mix between a Labrador and a Bernese Mountain dog..

Ours need their collars and leashes to go out.
