No.. just a regular meal in our home..
.... I'm going to go off topic just a bit..lol.. I was talking to. one of my employees today... he is single.. and the conversation came up.. well I brought it up because he's always paying for lunch.. that is he buys his lunch rather than make it at home.... I asked him what do you do for supper... he says I order in or pick something up... says it's hard to cook just for one.. not only amounts but.. inspiration as well.... do a lot of single people have this problem.... people that live alone...?... ok sorry for going off topic.... |

yes. duh.
 and I like to cook from scratch, so then you have leftovers for a couple of days or need to freeze left overs, or give it away at the bar, to friends or relatives....
say, you want some pumpkin cheesecake before I eat the whole darned sheet?

yes very much please a big slice.. and if it's not too much trouble.. a nice glass of ice cold milk.... what is it about dessert.. that lends itself so nicely to milk....mmmm.. milk and cookies..... German chocolate cheesecake.. and milk.. pumpkin pie and milk.. donuts and milk... there is something about milk...mmm... okay I need to go get a glass of milk now..
and a donut...lol |

good looking food...and snazzy plate... That plate is the old A&P stamp give away, "Currier and Ives", my mom collected when I was a kid. BUT that might be the one fake plate I have...I think there is an extra border embellishment on that one. |

I had lamb stew. twas good. then I had a half of a Jeni's ice cream sandwich. Chocolate Truffle With Backyard Mint ice cream sandwich. not my first choice flavor, but if you are familiar with Jeni's you know, that each one is amazing and must be respected. 
At first I thought these were Whoopie Pies! But ice cream will do very nicely! mmmmmm |
