Topic: Why don't I get any replies on here? | |

Any constructive advice would be appreciated. I don't know if my profile reads badly or if it is my photo or something else. Please help.

It is a great profile :-)
The negative side is, when they see you are married, (separated) they may hold back until resolution. |

Thanks Soufie. I hadn't thought about that. Many thanks.

Enjoining the forums really helps.
You can get to know some gals, they can get to know you. Sometimes, that makes the labels disappear :-) |

Give it time and get chatting, once people gain a opinion of you everything else will follow.

Mr Lewis
Let me offer my advice for what it's worth. Despite what others have said I found your profile too long, in fact I didn't even finish reading it because I got bored. Having said that, you do seem like a nice guy so I think you'll do ok. But I have to agree with Soufie, the seperated bit may put people off. Get yourself in the forums. After a few weeks you kinda get to know peoples personality's and it's a good way for people to get to know you too. Good luck and take care |

Thanks very much everyone. I hadn't expected so much warmth and encouragement. I have taken it all on board and I already feel less lonely.
Funkyfranky I just re-read my profile and I hadn't realised quite how long it was...yawn. Thanks for pointing it out, think I'll shorten it:) Thanks for being such a lovely bunch of people. |
