The guy has a police record already, of course he'll stay in jail longer. But of course the race card is played. Just like when Vick was arrested, and Kayne lost at the MTV awards. They pulled out their race card faster than old people with AARP cards in McDonalds.

There is no law against it in Louisiana. You can walk in somebodies yard and hang a noose and no charges can be filed against you.
What this boils down to is a street fight. They all should have been sent to juvy and the matter done with.
Instead this DA decides he wants to bend over backwards to punish the black kids for the fight.

I believe in mitigating circumstances and the noose ignited this incident.

But little discussion is being done about that.

Race Card.
Thats a myth used only by foolish white people when under stress.

I hate to break it to ya...no white person can say "that man is racist against me cause I'm white!" Theres no white heritage month, no nothing.

Anyway, a noose is a noose, theres nothing racist about it, its only how you view it that it becomes one. You can take one to the suicide ward of the hospital and its viewed as freedom, or take it out west and its viewed as "viliante justice"

Yeah bear you need to go on, because you're wrong in this case. This was a case of a gang of black guys beating a white guy. So its apparently not always white people going off on black people. Sometimes it is one way and sometimes it is the other.

The issue here is a bunch of kids ganged up on one kid and beat the hell out of him. One of the kids who beat him had assaulted others before and been arrested for it before, twice. That kid is in jail. So what. He probably needs to be in jail.

You want to let him out because he is black? You think it is reasonable to terrorize a town because a hoodlum is in jail for assault? You think that it was justified because someone else did something offensive? That sounds a lot like what you are saying here.

It sounds to me like you oppose justice for a kid who got beat up because the guys who assaulted him were black. If there is no justice then more violence results.

While claiming to want fairness for the kid in jail, the protesters are actually trying to obstruct justice for the other boy. They should all go home and behave themselves. Sharpton should be ashamed for provoking this hoopla.

If any kid at school is guilty of assault three times, and the last time it is a case of gang violence, he needs to be in jail. Excusing it for any reason, black or white is illogical and provocative in its own right.

heres what happen.

1) theres a tree that only the white kids sit under during lunch. a black kid ask a teacher if it was ok for him to sit there.

2) next day noose are placed on the tree. The whites kids are caught, and receive a tap on the wrist. then whole of black kids started sitting under the tree as a protest.

3) two week later, the black kid veiw as the leader gets his ass kick by a bunch of white kids.

4) the black kid with friends , catches one of the white kid who had kick his butt.. and returns the favor.

5) you know the rest

I was raised by parents who fought for the civil rights from the 1930's until they passed. It wasnt until i transferred to the deep south 10yrs ago that I really saw how horrific it still IS. you also have REVERSE racism SOOOOO its not just a BLACK thang. I am NOT promoting racism but i have been in the shoes where its been ME and its not a good feeling. Hanging the nooses by that tree was WRONG but then we dont have the entire story i am afraid that provoked that to happen. Will we ever know the TRUTH? I doubt it.

I agree, Thumper. When I was in school, and two people got into a fight, that was it. No one's friends jumped in, it was 1 on 1 99% of the time. Hell, most times, the day after, the two people fighting became best friends. Today, a group of kids jump one person, beat the living daylights out of him/her, then to add insult to injury, the gang will actually brag about what they did! Of course, nowadays, before a single punch is thrown, out comes knives and/or guns. I've been in my share of scrapes in my day. I've won a few, lost a few--But now, someone'll blow you away if they even think you're looking at them wrong.

6 black guys beat the **** out of 1 white guy because he "provoked" them by doing such an idiotic thing......hmmmmmmm 6 to 1......I dont think what they did was right with the numbers but if the white person didn't do it in the first place we wouldnt have this conversation now.

Actions equate consequence!!! Was the white guy asking for it??? You bet he was!!! Was he right and them wrong??? No!!!Both were wrong.
