WE?

People are not born with hate.. That is a trait that their family or friends teach them as they grow up. And then it is up to that person if they choose to have hate in their life..
Hate is a very powerful word/action that only the person can decide if they will let it within their lives... Myself I feel it is a thought/action that I don't allow within my life... So there is no WE there is only some that will let hate rule their lives... |

I for one, personally believe
love is a basic human need, to love and to be loved, to feel connected, to feel appreciated, to know that someone cares. Not everyone shares your opinion. Hate destroys... |

Are we talking actual hate or just a really strong dislike? There is a difference, as hate involves action.

This brought a couple of things to my mind. One is the movie Twins with Danny de Vito and Arnold Schwarzenegger. They were fraternal twins separated at birth. One grew up in the realities of a rough neighborhood. The other was raised in a tropical paradise. So one had all the goodness and the other was a shady character. Both of them shaped by experiences in their world.
The other thing it brought to mind was a new girl who came to our high school and we became unlikely friends. She was New and I was the student ambassador assigned to show her around the school. We got along right from the start. She was from the South and she told me one day, you know, I think it's kind of stupid that if you lived where I came from we wouldn't be able to be friends. And I replied why? You'd be just as nice a person there as you are here. I'd still be the same person I am. Why wouldn't we be friends? So she said in my state we are taught not to like people like you. Which, yes, ladies and gentlemen; it required full explanation because I'm a little slow on some things. Anyhow, the point is we aren't born with hatred, that gets learned along the way. It is also something that could be unlearned as was the case with this girl and me. We went on being friends into our mid twenties. When she married and moved away. |

we know life is too short to love. Errrrrrrrrrrr, wow. And I thought I'd heard it all. |

I don't hate, but realize that it is a core fabric of society and regardless of what I may do about it later it will not be eliminated.
So...Do it anyway and see what happens. |
