"Opening Doors”


They say when one door closes another one will open.
At times we just never know when that might happen.
We wonder why things in life go the way they do.
And the things we have to go through.
Each morning as the new dawn comes our way.
We see the sunrise we should remember this is a new day.
At times it is hard to see.
Some things are just not meant to be.
This journey we call life some times we are on our own.
There are times we must walk this road alone.
At times when you think that love has come your way.
But then you find out that it was not there to stay.
It was yet just one more stepping stone.
We take in life sometimes we seem to end up in the unknown.
We must get up dust ourselves off and keep moving along.
Before long we will all find that place that we belong.
No matter how much life may get us down.
Just stand up and look around.
At times it makes us want to shout and curse.
But remember someone else always has it worse.
As we sit and think things through in our mind.
We finally realize some things are better being left behind.
So just remember a new dawn has come your way.
You never know what may be in store for you today.

Mike thank you for reading and for the welcome back. Seems sometimes after we sit a bit and do some thinking. We realize that life will move on with us or with out us. We must make the choice to be were we want to be and what makes us happy. And overlook those things that we can not change. But make sure we don't let them change us from who we are in the long run.
