The primary or the main disadvantage of the same sex relationship is that you and your partner cannot have or make your own child not unless you and your partner adopted one. The other disadvantage of it is you can have different kinds of viruses or get sick that can affect your reproductive organs when you have sexual intercourse to your partner.

1. Gays & lesbians make poor parents.
The State of Hawaii and court petitioners representing the Roman Catholic Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints claimed that gays and lesbians in committed relationships make inferior parents. The best way to assure that children get the best possible upbringing is to require spouses to be of different genders.
2. Children need to be raised by their biological parents:
Children are better off when raised by their biological parents. In a same-sex marriage, at least one parent would be genetically unrelated to the child.
3. A child with same-sex parents will be subjected to hate:
Raising a child in a home with gay or lesbian parents in effect punishes the child, because they would be exposed to homophobia by the public. Hatred directed at the child's parents would spread to the child.
4. Marriage is only feasible if the couple is monogamous; same-sex couples cannot be:
Because of monogamy, marriage is an stable institution. This is apparently a reference to the state's belief that homosexual couples cannot be monogamous.
5. Homosexual activity is a capital offense in the Bible:
There are at least a half-dozen references to homosexuality scattered throughout the Bible. All are negative.

The person who is going to satisfy you the most is the one you have a chemical reaction to and who wants to make sure you are satisfied.

It really doesn't have anything to do with gender.

If you are born homosexual you will be attracted to your own gender, if you are bi you will be attracted to both and if you are heterosexual it will be the opposite sex.

If you are chemically attracted to someone who is a selfish lover, you will be dissatisfied.

The following is a brief review of what is currently known to medical science about the health risks associated with homosexual activity.
HIV/AIDS ; Homosexual activity remains a major source of transmission of the HIV/AIDS virus.
Researchers at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver conducted a study to assess how HIV infection and AIDS is impacting the mortality rates for homosexual and bisexual men. Lead by R.S. Hogg, et al and published in the International Journal of Epidemiology (vol. 27, no. 3, 1997, pp 657-661) they reached an alarming conclusion.
"In a major Canadian center, life expectancy at age 20 years for gay and bisexual men is eight to 20 years less than for all men.''
Physical Health Risks; In addition to AIDS, there is a long list of maladies attendant upon the homosexually active population. Of particular concern is **** cancer. Other maladies include chlamydia trachomatis, cryptosporidium, giardia lamblia, herpes simplex virus, human papilloma virus (HPV) or genital warts, isospora belli, microsporidia, gonorrhea, viral hepatitis types B & C and syphilis.
Emotional/Mental Health Risks; Two extensive studies published in the October 1999 issue of American Medical Association Archives of General Psychiatry confirmed the existence of a strong link between homosexuality and suicide, as well as other mental and emotional problems. In an interview with Zenit News, Dr. Richard Fitzgibbons, a child and adult psychiatrist in practice for more than 27 years, said, "Men and women with a history of homosexual contact had a higher prevalence of nearly all psychiatric disorders measured in the study. These findings are the result of a lifestyle marked by rampant promiscuity and an inability to make commitments, combined with unresolved sadness, profound insecurity, anger and mistrust from childhood and adolescence."
Physical Abuse; A recent study published in the American Journal of Public Health has shown that 39 percent of males with same-sex attraction have been abused by other homosexual men. Levels of abuse ran even higher among lesbians with 55 percent reporting physical violence, 14 percent reporting sexual abuse and 84 percent reporting emotional abuse.
Church Teaching; Unfortunately, the word 'disordered' steals all the attention and leaves much of Church teaching drowned out by angry invectives. Father John Harvey, founder of Courage, a support group for people with same sex attraction who are seeking to live a chaste life, laments the fact that far too many people, including Catholics themselves, are left with the impression of ". . .an authoritarian Church that makes decisions arbitrarily, without considering the nature of things. Nothing could be further from the truth."
God's Plan for Sexuality; "According to John Paul II, God created the body as a 'sign' of his own divine mystery," explains Christopher West, moral theologian, author and speaker, who is considered an expert on the theology of the body. "This is why he speaks of the body as a theology, a study of God."
Because God Himself is the source of the complementarity of the sexes, when He created man in the image of Himself, he created both a male and a female. They were then directed to "be fruitful and multiply" by becoming "one flesh."
This was the original vocation of man and woman, to unite their bodies and produce life, but to do so in the "image of God" which means it must bear the following characteristics: it must be free, total, faithful and fruitful.
This teaching was not something invented by the Church but taken directly from Scripture. From the book of Genesis onward, "The Bible uses spousal love more than any other image to help us understand God's eternal plan for humanity," West writes. "God wants to 'marry' us. (Hosea 2:19) to live with us in an 'eternal exchange of love.'"
