I think it should be taught, I was never told and grew up thinking it was bad, till my older sister told me about it. Now I see my young grandkids curious about my boobs, or things they see on tv as simple as kissing. Jmo

Oh dear me - I'm sure our families are related somewhere because we seem to share similar lives and geneological dna strands flowerforyou

I grew up in a strict, conservative household and was in a convent until I finished school (aged 17) and what I knew was limited to Barbara Cartland novels and my biology classes.....the rest was learned when I met my husband. My daughter on the other hand is a preteen and has the confidence to ask and share anything and everything with me. We have done the reproduction in both the animal and plant kingdom; the one thing that she was curious/perplexed with was about same sex couples and as we have a number of open friends she has felt comfortable to ask them and has received an honest answer to her never-ending questions: men and women, thus quenching her thirst and satisfying her craving for information, and making her wiser when ignorant adults and peers alike drop snide or unsavoury remarks.

I think sex education should stick with SEX education, and not relationship education

I think we should stick to the physical dynamics, how babies are made, how disease is transmitted and prevented

the risks of vaginal sex (regardless of gender of other party) , risks of **** sex (regardless to gender)

the social values and morals should be left to the family to teach,,
