I have a nephew who is gay that came out at 18 he's now 26 but so glad he came out and didn't hide it.

I'm in my 50's and just had my first sexual encounter with another man. I consider myself bi-sexual but did enjoy it greatly. He was a bottom and it worked great for me.

Congrats OP ... I am sure is a pretty scary subject to talk to others about... if they are not ... never know what they might say ... but now is a good time ... to and hope you find your life partner ...
I believe the only hang up for some is ...they all believe gays are pedophiles ... which for most is untrue ... Good Luck to you ... and be careful ...on line and off ... not sure where u are did not look but some have meeting places... they always go to ...groups ...clubs lots of different ways to meet others ...
