Although, IQ isn't really a measure of anything useful.

Well considering IQ is just a number measurement to supposedly tell how intelligent someone is. The number can be high, but it is up to the person in showing that they have "sense" and intellect in showing what true intelligence would be. Just my opinion

When I took my "Introduction to Psychology" course in college, the professor teaching my class said something that I have never forgotten.

He said that the only thing measured by an IQ test is how well a person does on that particular IQ test.

By the way, in the movie "As Good as It Gets", Melvin Udall (portrayed by Jack Nicholson) explains how men differ from women:

I think a woman has more IQ than a man but the different is a woman is easily distracted. That is why intelligence is scientifically proven to be inherited more from the mother.

i think men are more inquisitive and creative, as far as figuring things out and inventions, but women have a better gripe on reality than men do... i think they are equal

I have two brains. The problem is can only think with one of them at a time.

Reality ... all human beings are different and have different potentials.

The brain is separated into different parts that do different jobs and everyone's brain handles problems a little differently.

Many thousands of years ago, when breeding made important changes in the ability of the children to survive, men and women did different jobs most of the time.

Women's brains developed better communication skills because they were the food gatherers who watched the children. They learned multi-tasking and if you couldn't talk, listen for the approach of predators, pick berries, and discern the faintest sound of distress from the children, your children got eaten and you didn't get to pass your genes along.

The men hunted which required patience and silent communication skills. They had to focus to a degree seldom required by the women's tasks. In an instant they had to rush the prey, calculate multiple spacial vectors to cause a moving spear to hit a moving deer at great distance where all mathematics had to be internal and accurate ... or you didn't eat or pass your genes along to the next generation.

Physical sectional analysis of the human brain appears to show that the female brain is more interconnected than the male which may explain multitasking. The male brain appears to be more compartmentalized which may explain a better ability to focus and mathematical skills.

So maybe the real answer to this question is that we are comparing apples to oranges?
