What is it with men? Why DOES EVERYTHING have to be a competition. I tell a guy I found a good price on a lipstick at Macy's and he jumps in with a competitor's offer from Walgreen's  Cripes! How do men know anything about lipstick? I wonder if he was lying just to get the one UP???  hmmmmmmmmm..........little devils  OK, I'll try to make a serious comment ... Give me a moment. I'm a bit rusty when it comes to serious comments ... OK, here is how I see it. A man was trying to be helpful by providing information that the author of the OP might not have known. That's all there is to it. There is no ulterior motive. No desire to one-up. Now, was the man's information correct? If it was, then what is the problem? Is a man not allowed to be correct when he tells a woman something? men are correct as often as not...it's not a matter of whose right or wrong. I explained all of this earlier, but nice to see you
