I can't go through life without knowing if he truly exists or not. I don't care about getting on his good side and I'm willing to upset him if it means he'll show me a sign. Because: "I'd rather have a sure nothing than an uncertain something!"

So I've been trying to come up with ways that'll most certainly provoke him, if he exists that is. Mind you I don't want to get in trouble with the authorities. Any ideas?

Here's what I did.

I smoked for 45 years.

I quit a few times. Once for 2 years.

The last time, I knew my body was spiraling downward.

The way I asked God for help was saying, "Me and you both know I need to quit. As long as I can smoke, it looks like I will. I need help. Give me a way to stop, please."

I did say please.

A couple days later, I became highly allergic to my own smoking.

That was 6 years ago. No patch, nicoret, nada.

Gotta give all the credit to God.

Why would God show you a sign on this level? And if he showed you a sign, would you put your faith in it that it was him? The signs are all around, if you want them. You have to do the leg work and find them yourself.

This is all for us, God profits nothing nor does he gain anything. God even came and was humiliated and crucified for you. How much more of a sign do you need?

Have you ever decided to do or try something that you know wasnt right and could possibly end in negative results and right before you do it anyway, this inner voice or what many describe as gut feeling says nooo but you did and got in trouble? Thats GOD.

Whenever I used to want to speak to God and go over to an old Indian burial ground. It was called Eagles mound. I would smoke a joint and take a nap in the grass. I would end up having a conversation with God or Jim Morrison. Both are pretty cool. Hope this helps....

The Bible says do not tempt the lord thy God, as for his existence , who else could have brought about everything in this world but him. just read and try to understand Bible propecy it predicts everything the world has been going through and what is sure to happen not to many years from now maybe in our own lifetimes.

I dont see how one cant see the proof of God all around them. I would be too humble to try to 'provoke' him into proving himself.

Perhaps earnest prayer and meditation will open up the relationship that you can feel and which can give you the proof.

I would say he already showed u the sign but u were to busy coming up with a ways to provoke him and u missed it , the fact that u are looking to find the truth and needs to see it means that u have a brain that thinks and heart that believes. For me being a live in a world that people tends to kill each other for fun is a sign , being able to eat well and live well is a sign , being able to preform my religion and keeps the things that makes me happy is a sign .
