plus I got a better quote on that old shed-slash-garage roof.. $400 cheaper.. yup.. I'm just the reverse of King Midas everything I touch gets cheaper

the front yard is starting to look better too.. the lawns mowed, most of all the trimming is done.. have to attack those bushes though.. they actually grabbed the roofer guy and wouldn't let go.. then the mosquito's attacked him and we fought tooth and nail just to pry the poor bugger from their grasp.. he was bleeding and his clothes were all tattered............... yeah.. I'm embellishing a tad

and WHO'S playing with the thermostat again?? hummmmmmm???? crap.. it's like on BAKE up here PHEW.. I REALLY don't wanna have to turn on the a/c alREADY.. geesh.. it's barely JUNE.. what's OCTOBER gonna be like <---- that's me, sweating!

anywho..I had an AWEsome weekend.. and the cherry was I FINALLY heard from my 'estranged' (and often times VERY strange.. but adorable) OTHER sistah.. that just put me over the top.. I was soooo excited.. I even gave her her own distinctive ringtone..

mind you.. I think I disowned my eldest somewhere in all that goodiness.. but hey.. ya kick'em out when they get too mouthy and ya never wanna hear from them again ANYways right?? yup.. in too good of a mood to let other peoples stresses bust ma groove

((((sis)))) day yesterday was good thanks.. today is startin out sorta the same way.. got the roofers here today.. kinda early but hey.. by noon I'll have a new roof

plus I gots MORE work non stop works for the pocketbook but not so much for enjoying the sunny days mind you.. yesterday ended being a seriously CRAZY weather day.. hotter than BUT it finally broke after the wild thunderstorm and high winds.. and toDAY is gloriously cool

oooohhh... new roof.. yippee

it was really hot yesterday and then it got real windy then rained yesterday.. it's cloudy but hot today.. we need more rain to get rid of the pollen.. it is killing me..

holy carp batman.. on top of ALL the work I alREADY gots goin.. got dumped a fair sized EURO contract as WELL.. now I can ALmost say I'm talkin to da WHOLE WIDE WORLD.. .. yup.. got contacts from Europe to CALIFORNIA.. not to mention I'm puttin in about 15hrs a day BUT.. I'm NOT complainin.. just explainin

and the ROOFERS HAVEN'T FINISHED YET plus its costing more dang roof had a nice sized opening in it that had let a ton of water in that soaked the support beams AND cross beams as well as the plywood itself it needs to be done so.. can't b*tch at them can I MIND you.. when the owner showed up this mornin we had a good laugh.. they had left their compressor and other materials after they finished for the night last night and 1/2 hour later (at 10pm) while I was getting ready for bed.. the dang thang started pressurizing itself with a loud WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... I was like WTF??? are they BACK with spot lights to finish? cuz it really startled me.. but nope.. darn thing acted ALLL on its own.. so I had to go out and unplug it AFTER having to take down the tyvek plastic sheetings that I'd put up last year to "protect" it till I could get a roofer here to do it (and the $$ to PAY for it ) which took like 20 mins.. so I FINALLY got to bed WAYYY too late for a 4 AM alarm

ahhhhhh.. such is life huh.. however it'd be NICE if they didn't want everything done like NOW seems lotsa clients are being a lil unorganized of late.. or maybe it's just a sign of the times?? not sure.. hopefully we'll have a few that'll give us a bit more than 3 DAYS to finish'em up but again.. not complainin.. the $$ is ALWAYS welcome

anywho.. best get some dinner on and eat before bedtime rolls around again..

today it was more spring-like.. cooler temps and a wee bit overcast so not being able to go out was OKAY by me.. had to glue ma buttski to my office chair for too many hours ANYways
