Blessed be, everyone!
Let's see, I'm a spinner (making yarn from fiber, not the exercise bike thing), crocheter, weaver, felter, and any other fiber art that catches my fancy, weighing in from the D.C. area. I used to draw and paint all the time, but got out of the habit. Have been feeling the itch recently, but have been frustrated by the sketches I've produced. Of course, the answer to that is, of course, more practice! I dabble in all sorts of Arts & Sciences through my involvement with the SCA (http://www.sca.org), a medieval reenactment/hands-on education group. It's a lot of fun, and can take you into many very creative directions! |
