There are people who are lonely
There are people who are bad
Some of them are lonely
And some of them are sad
Then there are the other ones
They have for you a care
Someone to take heed of you
To them your soul to bare
Seldom are these people thanked
And rarely are they praised
They deserve the thanks and gratitude
Of spirits that they've raised.
If you meet anyone of these
As you make your way through life
Who've aided, helped and succoured you
Through all the pain and strife
Their endless toil, devotion love
Who have made better of worse
