My time has come
I walk away, not looking back
It matters not that I was here
My words will last until time itself ends
I've touched you all in ways you never thought possible
In return I have grown, from your light and love
I walk away , not looking back
I regret nothing
Learned, loved, lost and learned again
Some of you I carry with me no matter where I go
No matter what I face
Some of you I leave behind to carry on
Some of you I leave behind never to remember you again, best forgotten
My time has come
Change is here
It is time for me to go
Walking along my road

Jenni it has been over a year.
We have enjoyed your words here.
You have come a long way.
To get were you are today.
When I first arrived I read your words of gloom.
Each time I entered the poetry room.
As I read your words I was amazed.
At times they seem to leave me dazed.
As I read your words upon the screen.
Within my memory I could see the scene.
You were sitting by the river upon a rock.
I swore at times I heard the clock go tick tock.
Each time I read your words they would bring a smile.
You have your own special style.
I watched as you emerged out of the shadows over the year.
Slowly your writing changed and a Rose started to appear.
From the dark your words were of gloom and doom.
As you came into the light it appeared you were a Rose in bloom.
I watched as you left the shadows of the night.
Slowly the petals opened up to greet the sunlight.
You were finally able to push back the fears.
No longer did you have to shed the tears.
You realized in this place you had more than one friend.
As we vowed to be here with you till the end.



Jenni, in you I have found a special friend indeed. It was your words and your encouragement that brought me to put my words up on the page. We have talked and laughed and cried through this last year. We have seen many come and go. Even though I will miss your words here you will always be near to me. Shhhhhhhsssssss ya not getting off that easy. I do thank you for all you have done and being threre when I needed a friend. Love ya g/f
