What are you wanting to learn or be enlightened on Lonely?

there are too many things
there have been too many interesting topics posted
sadly, most of them have gotten diverted because people like to push their beliefs in to the other people.

Well give me one ....
"For instance..."

You have my oath I won't shove or convert...just a healthy discussion with facts and opinions. I think staying open to ideas helps growth in all of us whether we care to admit it or not.

In white there is life.
In black there is life.
But, in grey (gray) there is also life. For me more life. The area between ,(grey) is to me the busiest of all. I find more understanding and more movement in the grey area. There are many answers in that grey area of life. That is where I dig and ponder, and surmise much. If it weren't for gray, I would still be stuck in the dark ages. Understand??

Religious and Faith background?

I asked give me a "For instance..." HAHA

I consider myself a Christian who likes to people watch, learn, grow and besides... human life in it's natural state is the best comedy one can be surrounded in... I am here on earth to do a job, and I've been given the necessary skills; now I do it to the best of my ability and maintain my faith in Jesus Christ, God, myself.... at all times.

On the side I am thinking of hosting a side thread here called Thou Shalt Laugh... thinking though... without the minimum 2 drink limit here, it may not fly... HAHA

And you Lonely? What is your background and Faith?

Kat, you aren't in the dark ages, but the here and now. The light has been turned on for quite sometime within you, you chose to block it, we all heal at different rates, but now it is time to open your eyes Dear to see what you have been missing, yet, deserve rightly so.

Kat-

I agree completey. I was *trying* to be sarcastic with my "there is no grey (gray)" argument and connecting it to pettiness....

For me many, if not most, answers are grey. So few issues are as simple as they first appear. I rarely see "cause and effect" I usually see so many intertwined "causes and effects"....

Sometimes I see so many sides to an issue that I can almost paralyze myself... so I have to try to break the issue/decision down into simpler parts to try to find the right course of action...

I think this is why I am so fond of simple rules, like the Golden Rule that we have so frequently ended up looking to and praising... although I tend to try to think of it two ways:

1. Will this action or speech cause harm?
2. Will this action or speech tend to or seem to bring more joy into the world or more sorrow?

So sometimes doing nothing is turns out to be the best and my paralysis of indecision is justified... because many things are grey.. and the truly black and white ones don't need much time spent on them anyway...

Miguel-

"nothing to learn here"?

I'm surprised at this from you... is there not always something to be learned from another?

I hope you were just having a bad night... I'm sure you are working too hard as usual...

Take care. flowerforyou

One of the shows on tv that I really admired was the "Incredible Hulk". In an interview with Lou Feriggno Lou was asked what he thought of Bill Bixby. He said he looked up to Bill Bixby because he got all the girls. Lou lost 80 per cent of his hearing when he was younger. He said that he always had to perform at a maximum peak to try to overcome his hearing loss. Lou Ferrigno as a body builder could never beat Arnold Swartzenegger at the weight building competition but he did beat him in getting the role as the "Incredible Hulk". Bill Bixby said he always admired Lou Ferrigno for his gentleness.

~ Food for the Dude ~

~~~
Nothing to learn
nothing to share
his mind and his heart
are in such despair
Where are the people
with wonderful thoughts?
To inspire emotions
and connect all the dots
He's hungry to read
their ideas and dreams
their original views
and anomalous schemes
He thirsts for their visions
and pondering views
to assure him the world
isn’t like on the news
So someone please post
some positive food
to nourish the mind
of our Loneliest Dude
