Topic: what is your true intention (men & women)? | |
---|---|
i fell hard for someone and he let go so easily! so besides letting go of these feelings that one develops, i decided to try and understand his intention! what was the point of breaking into my heart, having me fall for him, and the first sign of a problem, he runs away leaving me broken singing blues! did i get played or did he figure he actually wasn't ready for a relationship?

with limited information, i'd say he was in it for the short term no matter what you think it may have become. some people are the leaving kind and some are the staying kind. guess we all know where he fits.
don't spend any more time thinking about this guy, it won't help. just move on and be glad he showed you who he is now instead of later on down the road. |

Be thankful he showed you how he is , now move on to the one that is deserving of your love. |

Sex and Virginity ! Women will never ever understand and believe me but, there is always one thing guys want, to have sex with you, even if takes him five years to be in a relationship with you, as soon as they have sex/ take your virginity, the relationship weakens and eventually he leaves you.
Virginity is a very sacred thing and should only be given to the person you love the most ( when you are married ). People who give their virginity to their boyfriends and girlfriends never really find true love throughout their lives and their relationships never quite work out, and what you end up with a society with single moms and dads. It is no wonder more than 75% of marriages in the United States fail. Look the way love and relationships used to be. No one would give their virginity to someone they are not committed to. Boyfriend and girlfriend relationships aren't real, they are relationshits !! I for once will never date a women who isn't willing to give me her V-Card the Way I will give her my V-card. Sender: 25 year old loving compassionate virgin who cares about all women !! |

It is slightly above 60% last I knew, not 75%...Not to mention that not every boyfriend and girlfriend have kids, which nixed your single parent bulls*. I'm no proponent for marriage, but you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. That said, he ran from commitment...Or got lucky and ran afterwards, could have even been married or engaged. You were, in this situation, used. |

I appreciate everyone replies! Whatever his intentions were, whether to have sex or ran from commitment, it's never a good feeling to hurt someone or be hurt! One lesson learned, one path closed!

I don't think you were played. It seems from your post this relationship developed quickly, you say you fell hard and perhaps in doing so you pushed things along too quickly for him to deal with. Maybe in seeing how you had fallen for him and if he was not as serious, he thought it better to move on, who really knows? My advice would be to forget him, no trying to understand his motives it wasn't to be and thankfully you soon found that out. |

True intentions? You would most likely get as many different responses to that question as there are members to this website. That's like asking what motivates you to do the things you do. All you can hope for is to find those that are honest in their relationships. Of course, that's perhaps the most difficult thing to do on the internet. My advise....be very cautious.

And of course you would know what an honest relationship is all about I presume? Honesty in relationships are of paramount importance...but integrity is even more important. At least you were honest in stating that you are after an "intimate encounter" and that you are "unhappily married". Integrity would beg that you settle that situation first and then go out and seek your "intimate encounters". Yes, I agree with you....BE VERY CAUTIOUS! |
