fraud is illegal but sometimes people get away with it

people who are on disability
people who are on family assistance
people who have taken jobs for positions they embellished their experience to get

fraud and dishonesty to get ahead or stay above water are nothing new and not the norm for people who seek help,,.,,,

Is this a confession? laugh laugh

IM actually painfully lawabiding,,,,

but thanx for not disappointing with ASSumptions,,,

So, now, a question is an assumption.laugh laugh laugh

How about refusing to apply for jobs because the folks believe that job is beneath them and UI extensions or welfare pays better?

Wouldn't that be a type of fraud?

Again, ladies and gentlemen who stayed/stay at home raising kids, who's footing the bill?

My mother stayed at home and raised me and my sisters. We were poverty. My dad did work but it wasn't enough and yes our family used government assistance. My mother was capable of working and for a while she did until she found out we were being abused. Then she quit. I'm sure people called us rats and made the same comments about our family. But they never dare said it to our faces...i dont care anyways. Their problem not mine!

actually, in AMERICA, just like employers are permitted to choose which applicants to consider, employees are permitted to choose which jobs to consider

so , no, having CHOICE is not fraud at all,,,, though the classist crowd sure would like to take that right away from people and give all power to employers,, return to a true slave culture,,,

It's one thing to work and be assisted. RCB, your parents did the honorable thing.

Ghetto hos are the ones who can be part of contributing to society but, refuse to and keep irresponsibly pumping out rats to keep the income flowing in.

yeah, WHEN that happens, its disgusting,, however, not the common case

And while the stereotype of the “welfare queen” is a woman who has more children to increase the benefits she gets from government programs, families who are enrolled look similar to those who aren’t. “Average family size was the same (3.7 persons), whether or not a family received assistance,” the report notes.

It's good to hear that you're getting support from the government. While here in our country, I have no options but to rely on my dad, who's raising both my sibs and my baby. I could be thankful for that.

it takes a village

some are fortunate enough for their to be a FATHER contributing, others get their support from extended family or parents or friends, and some from government assistance,,,

its fortunate that any of us have these options, many do not,,,,

it is a touchy subject, mostly because it often ends up with the accusation that raising children inst work, or shouldn't be valued as such because it has no paycheck,,

the same people pay to raise children that pay when children arent raised,, remembering that children are largely impacted not just by their HOME but by their COMMUNITY

they will be the leaders and the caretakers when we are old and unable ,so investing in them is the only wise choice a community can make,,,,for its future,,,

stay at home moms keep the family unit running, the way that managers keeps a company's employees functioning

well functioning homes lead to well functioning communities,,,,

I was not a stay at home dad; but I had to reorganize my entire life. Put it all in discreet little compartments with labeled priorities and then gently throw it all in the trash

If you had a man supporting the household and you decided to raise your kids, I applaud you.

If, you was single, sucking off the taxpayer, shame on you.

If ya can't afford to support kids on your own, quit having them.

Very simple.

Close your legs, use BC or get fixed until you're in a position to contribute.

Way too many leeches.

you have no business telling me what to do. I am not your to applaud nor disdain either way. Your opinion is meaningless here. but I don;t think you get that.
