“Waiting”



They say that someday it will be.

That all of us will see.

We will have that special one.

Right in front of us it will be done.

We wait until that day.

Just for someone to come our way.

We dream of the way it will be.

We can let our love run free.

Let it shoot so high.

It will touch the sky.

On the clouds we will float.

We will feel like singing a musical note.

As we go along this way.

We will be carefree each day.

Wondering what took so long.

Just to find the one to belong.

We will know the one that will not stray.

And will be here forever to stay.
