He is warm in the bed and safe to crawl into

he picks you up on a bad day and gets you tipsy on good ale

he looks at you like no one else exists

he gives up "the game" on your birthday

his kindness radiates like a truth he cannot hide...even when he acts the "bad boy..." ( he can't even scare the 2 y/o kid next door) lol

guess I have been lucky in the smexies that I've known :)

He is the answer.
To questions you have yet to formulate.
He is a lion in his lair.
Who needs you.
What a deal :-)

A man is an adult human male...

I personally think a Man is a little more than an adult male of our species. Or at least that is how I was brought up. Just like any male can be a sperm donor but it takes a Man to be a dad/father.

I personally believe that's because women think saying a man isn't a man when he doesn't do what they want will attack his pride and get him to do what they want or be what they want him too be. Its another form of manipulation.

Is that Google or Webster's definition?

Holy cow !!! If that is all it takes I wonder why my husband and I , and others, spent so much energy and time teaching skills and values? frustrated

thank you for showing up, but we really aren't saying anything here to invite negativity. bad attitudes, generally pervasive negative attitudes & opinions toward women with lots of excuses & "reasons" are really the only kind of man I would avoid and recommend anyone avoid.

that is not the type of "adult" (key word) male that this thread is about, to clarify.

I don't know I used to look at my dad and think to myself now thats a man.. I look at my son and think is that how he thinks of me.. so I try to conduct myself everyday.. so that will be. exactly what he thinks.. at least I hope..no1phD

right I agree. I think we do want to be good role models & teachers for our kids...good dads are sexy. I did not always agree with my dad but I admired his fairness

sweetestgirl11, a man is any adult male Human.

Your OP doesn't define a man. Instead, it describes how you want a man to act.

im thinkin...he takes an active role in lifes matters...like in parenting his kids, or partnering with his partner,

...and being the guardian of his own life...like being responsible for taking care of himself, choosing friends who enhance, and bring joy...

...making decisions that go further than the now.

Thats what I want to be when I think of being a real gal too.

Good explanation. Nice perspective from a woman's point of view.
