I need to ventilate, grmble.
Don't get why men simply disappear from the face of the earth after you've had a really good conversation or a date even? Just disappear, not let you know why? Effing w@nkers, the lot of you!
I had that happen, a friend of mine, on top of that a mail from my ex basically telling me to take care of something concerning our daughter. He never kept me informed about anything concerning the issue at hand, even though I asked him repeatedly to do so. Now he can't be @r$ed to solve the problem and he simply mails me and basically tells me to do it?
FO back to Mars the lot of you! I'm p***ed off.

Sorry to hear you feeling like this. flowers. Where's that sense of humor we know and love? I think you cope quite well, to be fair. You could always go and watch some male stripper's. They would be the silver lining, in dark times ;)

Perhaps a chat with a counselor might enlighten you regarding the coping strategies of others and train you to be more astute in dealing with your ex and men in dating situations. Being able to express your feelings is good but not knowing how to manage others with your own responses is needed. Hope you get help and then spend less time venting as its only a temporary solution and offers no future relief. Regards

Thank you ... Sense of humour will be back online soon, I always bounce back quickly. First I was angry, right now I'm just sad :(

There are a lot of good men. You need to spend more time with them and less time with the ********.

I know. Just needed to ventilate. I was so friggin angry.
But ... already found the sore spot, thanks to Shy Emo chick, who's reply made me cry as it was so sweet. Then the anger dissipated and I got to the core of the actual problem:
I always allow my 1st ex to make me feel like I'm a bad mom, because of all what happened to my family with my 2nd partner. So I feel guilty, even though I couldn't help what happened.
And he hit that sore spot again, I actually want to tell him "Sorry, I can't sort this problem" but I let him manipulate me into doing it, because I feel I will be a bad mom (again) if I don't.

As for the other part of my OP, yes, steer clear from ******, lol
Thank you
flowerforyou

PS it's safe to come back to earth now, no need to stay on Mars

Telling male Humans to go to Mars?

Not humans, martians

To illustrate why Venusians and Martians can clash:

Martians:

Now you can say looks don't count, don't judge the book by its cover, it's about personality, blabla, but there are limits!

yes that would be my thought - don;t do this favor unless it is something vital to your daughter's well being, and I see no reason to inform him of your plans one way or another

on some days the ones on Mars are actually better behaved lol

I really have no idea what you're going on about but women stop talking to me for no reason all the time as well, so don't try to make this into something all about what men are like please.

on that yes, it happens on here and I think it is mainly that they are scamming or they are talking to more than one and have decided on someone else. the net provides a certain anonynmity that seems to preclude rude behavior from some (the newer IMO)

I mean, some guy didn't call you after a date? If that's your question, it could be a lot of things Was it one of your "hot dates", or did you think that it was going to lead to a relationship?

That actually happened to my friend. But you're trying to tell me that you guys think it's normal that after a really good date or chat, to simply not get in touch at all anymore? So you go out with a woman, all is hunky dory, great time, and that's it? No message, nothing?
Gotta say it's rather childish to come up with "do you expect a relationship". I guess normal people do expect some respect and common decency though.
