Yeah, television channels are cheapskate operations, and it's not uncommon for them to buy stories from wire services and other writers. There are probably hundreds of examples if you look closely enough.

on the nose mort,, many don't realize though that news stations take a story from ONE Source and all repeat the same story that's why I think its important to give stories on the news time to 'unravel' and have follow ups to correct and balance out the information that initially came up from a need to be the first to report,,,,,that ends up having everyone race to tell the same story
