I was reading through all the posts and when I was scanning down I think I've pressed "report post" by accident.

ill be blunt if i dont feel anything, there would be a slight pinch on my chest once someone "unfriend" me. it would lead me to alot of questions why it happen. but then again i know myself better & i definitely treat my friends very well & fairly so if they "unfriended" me then they really are not the genuine one's.

In real life I do feel bad, especially if they give no reason as to why they don't want to spend time with me any more, but in the virtual world of the internet? Not so much.

It all depends on Why he or she unfriend me? If reasons are for something good , it dont hurt for long. But if WHY is not clear , It leaves a question mark which hurts.

True Cha. Just one exception in my book and that is when someone who was on my friend's list posts something ugly about me and refuses to talk about it when confronted. If they do not want to work it out and choose to no longer be a friend, they're gone and off my list. In the time I've been here that's only happened to me with one person. happy

If I have become close to them via emails, I would wonder for a day or so and then let it go.

If I am not close to them, I wish them well upon their journey.

Depends upon the person and our friendship.

According to Webster a friend is an ally, supporter, sympathizer, whom we know well and are fond of.

True friends I hold dear through the years as we celebrate birthdays, graduations, marriages, job promotions, home buying, our lasting unity... as we equally weather crisis and loss.

People we meet and interact with online, maybe talk with over the phone but never meet in person don't have the same opportunity to really know us through our life experiences together, good or bad.

These types of "friendships" that might qualify someone to become part of a "list" that can be added or dropped by the press of a key are more associates to me and being "unfriended" is merely a sign that the "connection" wasn't meant to last.

So, no, I don't feel bad if/when we clean house or move on.

it might. if it was one of those random friends that I never got to know I would not give it a second thought, but if it was a good friend I would be disappointed, but it is their right to do so that must be respected.
