I wanted to thank all of you for the prayers and well wished that were sent for my son, they meant more to me than you could possibly know. A special thanks to Kojack for being the true meaning of a friend, with out your caring support I'm sure I'd be a complete mess right now...

A little update--my son came home satyrday afternoon, is actually doing lots better than expected...broken arm, leg, collarbone, 2 lower bones in the back, and a few hundred stitches....his first request---dominoes pizza and a movie..lol --he has a nurse that will be here 5 days a week to help me out, and 6 months of physical therapy ahead of him, but expected to recover 100%

Tonight is my mom's viewing..tomorrow is her funeral..def a rough time...I miss her so much already..

you have been on my mind and in my prayers all weekend ever since I read the post. God will help you now get through this next trial. You will surely miss your mom. Mine has been gone for almost 6 years and it was like yesterday we were playing cards and her cheating it will be hard, take care of yourself

Noel, I just wanted you to know that you were in my thoughts. I am sorry about your mom. I am sure you are wishing that you could trade places with your son, just so he won't be scared or hurt any more. Just get through each day, don't look at the big picture yet, and things will be okay.

It is indeed heartwarming to see all the caring and sincere individuals here. Lean on us. Though we are far away, we are many, and have gone through many trials of our own. Your life and the lives of your loved ones are going through a painful transition but I hope you continue to find the little bits of love here a comforting reassurance. Familia.
