Being handsome is no longer all it's cracked up to be. People think that if you're good looking you'll get loads of birds but that isn't true anymore. Women don't go for looks like men do. And since women's lib, men have had to adapt to what women want. So men must now learn how to be friends with women before they can enjoy them. This is evil at work. The prophets would be livid if they knew what was happening today. The rugged individual is being replaced by a new generation of metro sexuals.

This does not bode well for the future.

Well alright, I believe you and I also have had women giving me attention and saying that I'm hansome. That just gets your foot in the door though and I've been watching you mate and you come across as one of those friendly ones.

I don't see anything wrong with being friendly. I see it as me just being polite. I have good manners and I use them. They are indispensable tools for a man to have. They are what separate the men from the boys and keepers from the creepers. Being polite doesn't make one any less manly.

Fair enough. But let me ask you this though:

How do you handle it when a woman that you don't fancy comes on to you? Would you, for instance, tell them that you're flattered but that you already have a girlfriend, even if that was a lie? What sort of stick do you use to beat them off?

Would you say that it's good manners to just politely turn them down by saying to a woman that she's not really your type, or do you think that it's better to just act like a prick, so that will put her off you and not make her feel like she's the one that's not good enough for you? What if that doesn't work and she still won't leave you alone?

Now, I couldn't say if you're hansome or not but these women say that you are and you are sort of boasting about it like this RedMist does but you're going further and saying that you have no problems getting women. He's obviously trolling and he's admitted that in another thread where he says that being a prick comes naturally to him. You're arguing that not being a prick is what seperates the men from the boys, if I understand you correctly.

My argument is that I can say that I'm a prick and it's false modesty, or I really do think that I'm a prick sometimes but either way, I can still get women.

Do you see where I'm going with this? There's no reason why this guy shouldn't be getting laid. He claims that he isn't but he also admits that he's trolling. This is a flamebait thread. Nevertheless, we keep giving him advice and whether or not he actually wants advice, other guys on here do. Why then is it necessary to keep saying that if you want to get a woman you shouldn't act like a prick? What's wrong with us?

Well I'm honest with them. I am not looking right now and tell them this. Which is the only reason I am single right now. Yeah I am boasting a bit cause I am confident in myself and my abilities. I also know my own flaws better than anyone else and there is a fine line between cockiness and confidence.

Now if I understand you want to know why not being a prick will help you get women? Thats easy enough to answer since a prick is the same as being @$$hole. People don't like pricks cause they're well....pricks,douche bags,asshats,ect...

If you wanted to know why manners are important as a man I'll answer that too. Manners first come from having respect for others. If you show others respect first it shows them you actually care about them as people. Woman are more willing to talk and listen when you show them the respect they deserve. Well that goes both ways actually. Theres an old saying about catching more flies with honey it still holds true.

Perhaps I could try wearing a cool hat and serenading em first???
