I think there are too many different personal tastes to really have an 'ideal'

I think its great there are so many choices for us to each choose what best suits us,,,

Well, the objective of this topic is to highlight the key features or functions you would expect a website like this to provide.
So what would it be? Specifically ? :)

Most Ideal Dating Website ?

Ideally, where only MY rules, rule.

One where everyone acknowledges my supreme
superiority, constantly.

Where everyone waits breathlessly for whatever
I have to say, about anything.

A site where MY opinion/approval is required for
any hookups among anyone on it.

That should do it.

First and foremost...free!
Should have several categories for people searching. Looking for love, just "casual encounters", just friends, ect...

I was on a dating site where you had to pay by the message. The idea seemed to be that because only people that were serious about meeting would pay for a service like that you wouldn't get any spam or time wasters that just want to chat or troll. That was what the women that I chatted with on there said to me anyway and I certainly did get more replies from them than I've had on any other dating site. Every single one of them that I contacted on there replied to me actually and they kept replying. It did seem ideal but it was expensive.

I would like to see more regional options and activities posted.

Be nice if you could identify your profile as being social or about dating which I got to admit for a long time I really wasn't. Might not be again in the future if I see the new folks showing up elsewhere.

Be nice if the threads were more diverse and less redundant. Maybe if some of the search options for previous thread subjects would let new members find out basics.

Like to see the site go back to the Just Say Hi and brand that, promote that, because it feels like Christian Mingle has pretty much strangled this site.

Maybe you are picking up a lot of members is third world country's but some of the people that made this a really cool site have seemingly left in droves and it is over populated by scammers that I see very little moderating efforts to weed out.

Why you don't do more to encourage more than little more than a handful of posters to keep your forums alive I really don't get.
