Only once, in college
Had 6 roommates in an old house and a few of us were in the basement. Got a letter in the mail, saying he had been watching me through the basement window for weeks, commented on..things. Called the police, they found a stool and marks outside the window, and the curtain did not quite cover the window. Scary, never found him, no idea who it was. Only time it has happened to me, other than an ex who always seemed to be walking past my house. |

It's stalking.If you're acting possessive of someone and you're not dating or married to that person, it's stalking. If you are married or dating that person then they should probably leave you. If you're hiding in bushes with a pair of binoculars or a camera and it's not part of your job. It's probably stalking. There are plenty of other things that would indicate it is stalking. But I can't think of all of them. |

You either know the person you follow and wish to checkout their actions or be close to them ??? And then there is the stranger , peeping tom.. Some Stalkers are dangerous , Some are not , Until they lose their desired person.... |

Twice in my lifetime. Once by my ex-husband who was arrested and taken to jail for unlawful possession of a firearm; once pretty recently, by an ex-boyfriend, which finally required a warning from a local police department officer. I was fortunate nothing permanently damaging came out of either experience.
