What's the meaning of my life
When everyday's a constant strife?
You think you've found someone that's true
Someone who really cares for YOU
Harsh words, bitterness, and feelings left unspoken
Leaving me with just a token
Of the love I thought we shared as friends
GOD..will this hurt ever end?
You needed me, and I wasn't there
But that doesn't mean I didn't care
We were so alike, yet different in ways
If only you could see my face
You'd know how much I really care
And long so much to be with you there
We shared beautiful moments together
I wanted them to last forever
I don't regret
Nor will I forget
We'll never know what might have been
I wish we could start over again
The differences that's torn us apart
The pain I feel, within my heart
You've opened feelings I never knew
And I wanted to share them all with you
But I fell short, and now I must pay
For I lost a friend I loved today!!!
