Honestly, if a guy ever told me he was X age but looked X age, I'd run immediately; pics tell how old you look, no matter how old you feel. Trying to downplay your age makes you look desperate and lame, if you're old, you're old, deal with it....

It's easy to steal pics off the net or from someone you know, next time, insist on Skypeing or at least some sort of cam chat.

Even cam chats aren't guaranteed to show you what the person looks like. I've had plenty of scammers who said they wanted to chat via webcam and either they used stolen video or they pointed the cam in a direction so all you see is a mostly black screen.

One of the dumbest scammers I had send me video via a fake cam chat used a video from ravenriley.com. It was obvious since they didn't bother to do anything to hide the watermark. What was extra stupid was when they said they wanted to chat with me again via webcam and sent the same damn video feed. Talk about a retarded scammer. lol

Oh god, that's hilarious....however, how can you chat with taped video? I mean seriously, I might ask a question or something, you can't anticipate what the other person is going to say....

I don't recall if I knew if it was a scammer at the time with the dark screen idiot. But basically I could see an outline of the persons head and the ceiling. The light was making it so the cam couldn't give a proper picture so their face was blacked out.

I don't know why they use prerecorded video. Last one that did that used what I think was a live cam feed I think from a cam model. But it was obvious the person in the feed wasn't talking to me at all as they never touched the keyboard and yet msgs were being exchanged. Maybe they just had a psychic computer. lol

Yeah, I felt.... somewhat violated. He kept trying to put the moves on me and all I could do was try to refrain from puking. I can stand ugly sometimes, if they have an astronomically great personality, but warn me first, and I cannot stand nasty. And that sweaty, armpit yuck he was exuding..... horrid. I mean... he was pouring... and the smell.... I felt bad for him but I felt worse for me.... I was like um.. you look a lot different in person, he is like uh yeah all the ladies love me... I about choked on my tongue....

Seriously, he said that? What planet is he from? It sounds like he's either changed significantly from when he was a teen and actually was desirable... Or he forgets that the people who meet him are thinking he'll be the person in the picture.

I'm the same - I try not to judge people based on their looks, but if they actually lie about what they look like (or post fake pictures) I'm not going to trust them. And there's certain things I can not deal with - poor hygiene is one of them. I'm not OCD about it, but daily showers/baths, brushing of teeth and deodorant are a must.

It also creeps me out when people eat with their mouths open or breathe heavily a lot (that wheezey/panting - excluding those people who actually have breathing problems). I don't know why it goes through me, but it does. And it sounds like he'd be one of THOSE guys...

Yes... slurping a milkshake incessantly for about 15 minutes to make sure the last tablespoonful of liquid was out of the cup.... yeah... a ruffian...shiver....

I hate that sound too! Eurgh. Rough around the edges: fine, imperfect: fine, creepy/gross: not fine.
